Benny was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. He started learning photography in college and eventually became a serious hobby. Having to travel extensively, Benny photograph every country he has been too, writes travel articles for various Indonesian magazines and run his own Jakarta-based wedding magazine.
Travelling and Photography has become his deepest passion planted in his life. His first exhibition was held in Jakarta in 2005, titled Tibet – A Journey to Share. As a photo enthusiast, he believes in the quality of celluloid that keeps him still taking pictures with films. He uses different format of cameras, his favorites are medium format camera for taking landscape photographs and shooting with a range finder camera for streets photo
He is currently working for an oil company and based in Singapore.
